Effective communication has become a vital necessity in our industry with everyone being constantly bombarded with so much information on a daily basis.  Being able to communicate on many different levels, across cultures, backgrounds and different markets is now vital to successful relationship building with our clients.  Networking is the new sales/marketing and is a skill that can easily be learned.

The following topics will be included in the course:

  • Networking skills - 60 seconds to make an impression in the events industry
  • Business presentations skills including body language and breathing techniques
  • Basic principles on how to write creative and effective advertising material
  • How to make your e-mail campaign stand out from the rest
  • Writing meaningful 'call to action' direct mail campaigns
  • Understanding the fundamentals of great copy for your website and printed media
